"I See You Annibel."

I will be gone until Tuesday.  I'm going down to the Bay Area to celebrate both of my son's birthdays and Mother's Day. I brought my oldest home from the hospital, 41 years ago today and 5 years later the Bean's Daddy came along. They may be 5 years apart but their birthdays are only 3 days apart. So, we will celebrate these two wonderful human beings that I brought into the world so long ago and I will celebrate Mother's Day because they couldn't have done it without me.
Keep an eye on Annibel for me while I'm gone.

  1. Wishing you a fabulous Mother's Day celebration Connie! I love your FarmLady tales. That Annibel has her eye on an afternoon snack perhaps. Or a new playmate??? Maybe you could get the goats to look after the chickens while you are gone. So many critters you have, so much entertainment....love it.

  5. Happy Mothers Day. Hope you have a wonderful time with your boys. My little granddaughter told me this morning she doesn't know why I'm coming for dinner tonight, I'm not a mother any more, I'm a granny now. Enjoy your trip!

I am so far behind on visiting. I am feeling really pretty darn good right about now. It is amazing to me that this surgery and the after pain has not been as painful as what I suffered before hand. I have to keep reminding myself to tap the brakes from time to time as I wheel down the road to recovery.

I loved the sleepy time baby Bean in his high chair and sleepy time Noni too.

Have a wonderful trip and safe journey my friend. I received your card Saturday and your thoughtfulness touched my heart. :o)

  9. Hi Connie, I'm so glad you got to meet Chester. He certainly was "a heartbeat at my feet". He hardly left being at my feet, which I loved. So hard to get used to him not being there. Glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day. And thank you again for your love and support, it means the world to me Connie. Take care, Riki xox
