Your photos of the mantis are wonderful. It's so heartening to think how these little creatures could survive that fire. God is so good to all of his creatures...great and small!
I love insects. Especially Praying Mantis. i can still recall the first time I saw one as a child. I thought they were the most magical thing I'd ever seen. I still do.

I found a cricket in my sink under a onion blossom :) this morning
