Wow, I thought the smoke was bad here. we left for the coast for a few days to get out of the heat and smoke. The day time temps were a lovely 72 degrees. We soaked as much of the cold into our bones as we could, then returned home to more heat and smoke. Terry
It's a beautiful photo, but a sad situation. Hope all is OK in your direction. I live up right near the Gap Fire (above Goleta). Ashes, smoke, electricity black outs .... hoping for no evacuation order, although it is now 75% contained.
I also really like the other photos in your subsquent posts and your repect/love for wildlife. One of my friends here said there was an unusual number of birds outside her windows since the fire started. My guess is that they are refugees from the fire (we are three and a half miles from it).
this is a great shot, and an aptly titled one as well. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. hugs and blessings
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo Connie..... The fires are making nice effects on the sunrise pictures.
ReplyDeleteI have my bucket filled and ready.
