Finding Myself Inside of the Rain

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning Rain
by Tu Fu
"A slight rain comes, bathed in dawn light.
 I hear it among treetop leaves before mist arrives.
Soon it sprinkles the soil
and,windblown, follows clouds away.
Deepened colors grace thatch homes for a moment.
 Flocks and herds of things wild
glisten faintly.
Then the scent of musk opens across
half a mountain -- and lingers on past noon."
Yes, the rain has come.
And I find myself inside of it.
Do you see?
  7. Yes! I see :)
    Beautiful photos, as always. I'm so impressed by the weathered edge of the barrel planter. It has "character", like the lines in our faces as we age :)
  9. I love the rain. Living here on the 'wet coast' it's part of me. I go out in it, stay inside and look out at it and love the smell and even the feel of it on the wettest of days.
    What lovely prose to go with the rain. I'll bet you're happy to see it as well?
