Gosh, I remember in the early 50s driving along Highway 101 (which was 1 lane in each direction, not the vast expanse of freeway it is now) and the towns did not flow one into the other; there were miles of “country” between each town and the fields and hillsides would be almost solid with California Golden Poppies. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that we are old enough to remember those “good old days”. But what a glorious sight that was. Thanks for taking me back! You must LOVE looking at the variety of wildflowers and vast array of colors you having growing on and near your farm. Lucky girl!! ~Dawn
