"So prayer is our sometimes real selves trying to communicate with the Real, with Truth, with the Light. It is us reaching out to be heard, hoping to be found by a light and warmth in the world, instead of darkness and cold. Even mushrooms respond to light - I suppose they blink their mushroomy eyes, like the rest of us."

  1. I am passing to you the Liebster Award, please check email for details!

  2. lovely...look at all those flowers in that last pic...very nice...

  3. Thank you, thank you! What great photos. Aren't our California poppies wonderful? A great gift to us from nature. Love T

  4. Gosh, I remember in the early 50s driving along Highway 101 (which was 1 lane in each direction, not the vast expanse of freeway it is now) and the towns did not flow one into the other; there were miles of “country” between each town and the fields and hillsides would be almost solid with California Golden Poppies. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that we are old enough to remember those “good old days”. But what a glorious sight that was.
Thanks for taking me back! You must LOVE looking at the variety of wildflowers and vast array of colors you having growing on and near your farm. Lucky girl!! ~Dawn

  5. Oh how I miss those Califonia poppies. Great photos. Have a blessed evening. Madeline

  6. Orange delight! By the way your new header is stunning!

  7. Hey kid, you are breaking my heart with all that beauty.....such joy
