I’ve been thinking a lot today about your Mom and my Mom. And I sent them both another “thank you” for putting us back together. I read somewhere, “no one will ever love you like your mother loved you”. Isn’t that the truth? It’s been 9 years and, every single day, I still miss not being able to feel Mama’s love. Those vintage photos of Mrs. W. are wonderful! I never realized until I saw them how much you look like her!!!! Is that photo #2 really your mother? That is the image of YOU that remains in my mind’s eye. When I first saw it I thought it was you. I keep going back to look at it; are you sure that isn’t you? Photo #4 of you two curly-heads is just adorable.Happy Mother’s Day sweetie. ~ Love, Dawn
LOVE the chicken picture! You should make it a copy of it to make it into a card or a piece of art. Happy Mother's Day to you! xo, Cheryl

Thank you for your very kind comment on my blog. We that have lost our mothers have very good memories of them. Our children and grand children now honor us on this special day. I know I had a very nice mother's day and I hope you did also. Have a blessed evening. Madeline

She was "one of the good ones" as my dad would say, and he ought to know! Happy Mother's Day to you and your sis.
What wonderful photos of your mom. I also love that fat cat! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Love Tina
Your mom looks like she would have been a 'good one'! Your tribute is beautifully stated...I know I will miss my mom one day and keep gathering memories to fill my heart for that time.
I feel the same. I live for my mom and Anelisa, but more for my mom who never got to see the world as she would have liked...to really live like a free spirit :)
