Can't wait to see photos.
Secondly, I wholeheartedly agree with your thoughts....actually I think I may be ahead of them in some ways.
You see Tom and I are planning a road trip across country to my daughters wedding in Toronto in August. That's 2,718 miles. We hate flying and thought this would be a great opportunity for a holiday together which we don't do enough of.
Anyway, Tom has this romantic notion of taking the van and doing the half van sleeping and half camping with our tent...Uh Uh no way! These old bones do not want to set up and take down camp every night, nor do I like getting up in the middle of the night, in the dark, in Grizz country to take a pee! Been there. Done that! Not so romantic... I also like the idea of having a few comforts like seats inside a dry motorhome and a place to cook where you don't have to scoop dirt out of things, etc, etc...Tom is physically in worse shape than me due to old motorcycle injuries and back trouble so he is definitely re-thinking this whole idea.
I will have to show him your post and your most insightful thoughts on camping in the golden years...never mind "Women camping", lets talk about elder people camping!
One of these days I hope we can come done to your part of the world in comfort!
Ciao for now,farmladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10516462251842458511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1170972260275595837.post-2957542986509097012013-06-17T05:43:53.340-07:002013-06-17T05:43:53.340-07:00Wow that was some adventure with the camper.
