Memories of My Mother

**********************
The best conversations with mothers always take place in silence, when only the heart speaks.  ~Carrie Latet

I miss you Mom.
Now, you are in my heart.

  1. I’ve been thinking a lot today about your Mom and my Mom. And I sent them both another “thank you” for putting us back together. I read somewhere, “no one will ever love you like your mother loved you”. Isn’t that the truth? It’s been 9 years and, every single day, I still miss not being able to feel Mama’s love.
Those vintage photos of Mrs. W. are wonderful! I never realized until I saw them how much you look like her!!!! Is that photo #2 really your mother? That is the image of YOU that remains in my mind’s eye. When I first saw it I thought it was you. I keep going back to look at it; are you sure that isn’t you? Photo #4 of you two curly-heads is just adorable.
Happy Mother’s Day sweetie. ~ Love, Dawn

  4. Thank you for your very kind comment on my blog. We that have lost our mothers have very good memories of them. Our children and grand children now honor us on this special day. I know I had a very nice mother's day and I hope you did also. Have a blessed evening. Madeline

  11. I feel the same. I live for my mom and Anelisa, but more for my mom who never got to see the world as she would have liked...to really live like a free spirit :)
