The Women that live in my Garden

This is what they have to say....
" I am tired of the heat today. I'm glad I am planted with ivy. It's cooler under it's shade."

"I felt like I was lying on a beach all day today. Then someone splashed water on my face this evening and my complexion has survived another summer day."

"I live under three bushes and  the lavender always makes me smile."

"I'm at one with the garden and the sun shines on me all day. I am my artists girlfriend and I'm in love."

"In dwelling, live close to the ground,
In thinking, keep to the simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don't try to control.
In work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present."
~Tao te Ching~

  2. Maybe I am one of those women- we were in Algodones for dental work today & it was hotter than heck! Your garden looks cool & refreshing. Thank God for air conditioning............

  6. I agree with you. There is something mysterious about her smile....and I think it changes with the seasons.

  8. I found your blog while reading over at Nina's. I guess we have something in common: we both live in the Foothills. I'm not sure where you are but I am between Auburn and Placerville. Not as many acres as you; only 8.5 but at the end of a road like you. Nice to have found you. Have you ever been to the IKEA in West Sac? One of my favorite places.
