  1. I love dahlias! My mother always grew them, and I love the fragrance.. if you can call it fragrance!
Your harvest is lovely too... is that an apron that the beans are laying on? And you're wearing it too, in the "foot-sized zuchinni" photo? I think that's why the first pic made me feel all nostalgic. ;)

I hate to admit it, but the baby birds are finally getting cute! I mean, they were cute before, but ugly as, at the same time. lol!

  2. The birds are getting feathers so fast! They look great. The dahlias are a beautiful color. Looks like your veggies are coming in.

  5. Such beautiful summer photos! We have finally got a good stretch of hot weather so now I can honestly say, I can relate! Do you use a specific technique for the softness around the edge of some of your photos? (I'm thinking of the baby bird pictures) Will hopefully have a zucchini harvest to try your recipe, if not I'm sure SOMEONE will have some to give away!

then all other varieties follow suit...

What is the name of that variety of zucchini squash? I bought some, they are lighter than their dark blackish green cousins, taste the same. I made some the other night!

Ahhh, and ohhhh, how you make me miss my garden, yard, and whole darn headache of a house!
