45 Years and counting...

We found each other in an English class our first semester at college. It was 1962. I was the girl from the city ( Well...the "burbs") and you were a boy from the Central Valley. You had a friend introduce us and the rest is history.
Happy Anniversary, my love. We have found our place in the world.
Here's to 42 acres and a farm, 4 goats, 10 chickens, two little dogs, rattlesnakes, mountain lions, poison oak and us.
With all my love.....

  1. How lovely to hear about your meeting and your anniversary. You have been married a few years longer than my dh and I. Congratulations to you both. The idea of a small home on a dirt road in the country is very appealing to me.

  2. Love is the thing that enables a woman to sing while she mops up the floor after her husband has walked across it in his barn boots.
"Happy Anniversary" wishes to you both; today, tomorrow & always. Love ~ Dawn

  5. Congratulations, dear friends. Your wedding seems like yesterday. We were all so young! It seemed to me like a love match on that June day and it still does now -- with two sons, two grandsons, myriad heart aches and wonderful times in between.

Have a lovely day, you two kindred spirits!
