  2. I'm so sorry about Maggie. We lost Pierre last April at 18 years old. It was tough. I was at work. Mike came in to take a break from grass mowing. He lifted his head, looked around, put his head back down, took a deep breathe, and slipped away. Very sad, but peaceful. Maybe they are playing together in doggie heaven.

    I'm so, so sorry. Oh, this pain is virtually indescribable. :-(
    We lost our beloved Spooky, a flat-coat retriever, to cancer after 11 1/2 years and our hearts literally broke in half. These beautiful animals become our family, our dearest friends. You were so lucky to have Maggie in your life, and she was so lucky to be your dog. My thoughts are with you.
