A Little Girl

TRACY, Calif. -- Sandra Cantu's body was found Monday inside a piece of luggage pulled from a San Joaquin County irrigation pond, Tracy police said. The 8-year-old girl disappeared more than a week ago.

What will happen to a world..., where little children are thrown away so easily? Why are there people who do things like this? How do we keep our children safe?

My heart aches for this little girl and those who love her.

  1. How terrible. For the life of me I cannot understand how anyone can do this to a child. My prayers are with the family. Try and have a good day. Madeline

  2. My Husband just mentioned this today. I hadn't heard about it, but I had to stop and cry. I can't stand the thought of a percious little one having to suffer. How sad, there will be an extra special place in Hell for people who can hurt the defencless like this.

  4. Its terrible, just horrific. Makes me want to keep my kids locked in the house. She was the same age as my oldest daughter. I just couldn't imagine... I would die.

God bless you Farm Lady, may He bring all of us peace.

  5. It is such a sad and terrible commentary on the world we live in when another "human being" (and I use that term loosely) could do this to anyone else, let alone a precious and innocent child. Evil is out there and we need to be as vigilent as we can. I was praying they would find her alive. Such a sweet little girl. My heart aches for her family.

  6. I just do not understand who can do these deeds to anyone, but especially to a child. There are some sick people out there.

I can't hardly stand to let myself think about it. It makes me too angry.

  8. My heart truly breaks for what this child endured. I agree with Molly, there must a horrible place reserved for the one who can inflict such pain. I pray for the loved ones left behind...

  9. I have wondered these same things for many years. It is beyond any reasoning. It seems as if these senseless murders and abuse of these wee babes are happening more frequently. My heart aches for them all.
