Cat waits for her return.

My mom is in the hospital. I'm leaving this morning for the bay area, Not sure when I'll be back.
Her cat, Honey, is waiting for her to come home.

Please say a prayer for my mom.

  1. Sending your mama lots of healing thoughts. Honey is a beauty...I'm sure your mom misses her, too.
    Be safe.

  5. Farmlady,

I will remember your mom in my prayers. Animals are really sensitive to things like that. My dad's dog does the same thing, even to the point of wandering around looking for him when he is away for a while.

We had wonderful dog when my mom was alive, that could sense when she was going to have a seizure. (She had a stroke and the scar tissue from the stroke started bringing on seizures, so said the doctors) We could watch the dog and tell at least an hour before that she was going to seize that day. It was amazing! When she did, the dog went over to her and got just as close as he could and would not move away from her until it was over! This was instinctive in this dog. He has never been "taught" like some that are used for "special needs" people.

Again, you mom will be in my prayers.

  6. My prayers are with your mom and you. I have been following your blog for sometime. This is my first comment. I have enjoyed reading about the goats etc. I was raised in Nevada City, California and although I now reside in Alabama I like knowing I can still have some connections to my home state. Hope your mom will be ok.
